Soul mates

I often disregarded the idea of soul mates because how could we ever rest assured that we are ever going to meet them? How could we ever know where they are, who they are, or if we've already met them? Lately, though, I've realized that you don't always get to meet your soul mate. You can go your whole life without meeting your one true love. They're out there, but you'll never know. They might even be a fictional character.
In my case, I HAVE found my soul mate. I realize now that this is the only person who is meant for me, created by God as a MATE for my own SOUL. It's the one person in the whole world who could ever truly love and understand me, and the one person I could ever truly love and be loyal to.
Unfortunately, he is just an alter ego, and I will never get to be with him. But I'm thankful to know that there IS someone absolutely amazing out there for me, even if he will never be mine.

Thanks Charlie, for giving me hope that I will one day find someone kind of like you, but not my soul mate.

It's been a rough week

some "highlights" of the past seven days spawning my current existentialism has me wondering...

...does our immortality end with our physical life?

Certainly not.

People Who Deserve a Second Chance

1) Carrot Top. You know, that box of props thing? I think it's great. Don't be so hard on him. Regardless of that horrible plastic surgery/botox deal he's got going on these days, I don't think he's a bad guy.

2) Jennifer Aniston. I don't know about you, but I remember Rachel, and that's almost enough. Not to mention that she is ten times more adorable than that creepy crackhead Angelina Jolie and her succubus ways.

3) Brand New. Okay, it's been forever already since their last album, but they're in the studio as we speak, so we just have to be patient! And a lot of people don't like their last album because it was as poppy as the first two (which is bullshit because Devil and God was MUCH better) but I HAVE A FEELING this new one is going to be GREAT.

4) New York. NEW YORK WHERE ARE YOU? Yuck why am I even ASKING.

5) My Dad the Rock Star, the love child of Gene Simmons and Nickelodeon. There's an article about it here. Okay, not the most popular Nickelodeon cartoon around, but it is definitely one of my favorites. Nicktoons, the reject cartoon channel, doesn't even play it anymore, so that's how I know I'm in trouble. Which leads to number six...

6) Martin Mystery. Also another great and recently canceled Nicktoons show, from the creators of Totally Spies, based on an Italian comic book. Martin was certainly a dreamboat.

7) Picasso. Francis Bacon may have stolen his spotlight, but we should never forget who the master of figurative modernism is. At least, the original master.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

"It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity, you understand? She’s coming through on the tour, on the stop, it’s like, take your chance. Take the opportunity, do it. It wasn’t really stalking her, it was more plotting out how to get to her house.”

Great advice from a Britney Spears' fan, or some say, stalker. Well, most say stalker, because she was arrested.

Something Very Important to Me

I love Jennifer Aniston, and I will have her back till the end of time. All I can remember is Rachel, and there's no way Angelina Jolie is ever going to be as adorable. Besides, at least Jen doesn't look ten years older than she actually is, and at least she isn't some husband stealing succubus.
Either way, I feel like I haven't really voiced my opinion on the subject, but now you know.

Matt Damon with a Boston accent circa Good Will Hunting.

Liam Neeson.

Kevin Drew, the musician who knows me better than anyone without ever knowing I exist.

My newest love, Michael C. Hall, but only as a secret serial killer.

Gary Oldman in every shape and form he has ever been in.

Seth Rogan, the epitome of my dream guy.

amy winehouse doesn't want people to think she's a crackhead

apparently, she wants them to KNOW she's a crackhead.

I mean, holy crap. Those are the most depressing pap shots I've ever seen. What is going on in her head? Seriously, let's remember this girl in our prayers tonight because she is losing it.
